feat: Give option to not move cursor when focusing a different window via shortcut

Closed this issue · 4 comments

(1) Description

When using Meta + j/h/l/k to focus a different window, the cursor moves to the upper left corner of the window. This is not always easy to use, as the cursor may get hard to follow and very often (at least in my experience) I'd just rather that the mouse stays where I left it. Even worse, when using said shortcut to focus a maximized window, the cursor will end up triggering the hot corner, which sadly halts the workflow.

@Impasse52 ,

There is a setting for enabling/disabling this behavior titled Move Pointer with Focus.
Is this what you are looking for?

This definitely sounds like what I'm looking for. Is this setting not in the UI? I'm confused, because I can't seem to find it. :/

The latest branch has not been published to extensions website.

This definitely explains things. Got the latest version from this repo and now I can see the setting, thanks for pointing it out!
