Also, for teaching maybe a practice project using it.
Maybe it could get progressively more difficult
eg:

  • variables for 'drive-train' speed -->
  • maybe user input -->
  • loop to update variables -->
  • actual WPLiubj timed robot -->
  • WPLibj command based code -->
  • ...
