Mandatory use of SRV records should have an option flag to disable

For managing FreeBSD systems deep behind other locked down systems without direct internet access can make using DNS and SRV records impossible. On systems without real DNS, current tricks such as HTTP_PROXY and setting fake records in /etc/hosts can allow for updates but dependency on DNS SRV records make that difficult. Perhaps a simple option, flag or fallback could change the default "pkg+http:" url to the older "http:"?

remove pkg+ and mirror_type=srv from the configuration and it will try anything on dns SRV records
