Error when updating module "Navigation Bar Simple" in content editor

Seems like the issue is with line 21 in the "Navigation Bar Simple" module.
hsDebug shows the following:
message='Error in '/FreshJuice/modules/navigation-bar-simple-module/module.html' on line 21: Invalid argument in menu(): 1st argument (menu ID or name) cannot be null'
