Why the name of the entity_id has changed - now has 2 at end?

Have you rebooted HA or made an upgrade? Can you provide more details (HA version, Moj Elektro version)?

This usally happens, you have two devices or entities of the same type and model, or different unit of measurement, Home Assistant might automatically assign a number to distinguish between them. Entity_id can also auto change, when device was removed from the system and then added back.

I'm uncertain about the cause, but the Moj Elektro integration consistently uses the same entity_id. However, there could be a conflict within your HA setup.

To resolve this:

  1. You could try rebooting HA and hope that the new entity_id_2 is recognized by the existing entity and subsequently renamed.
  2. Alternatively, you could delete the existing entities and then reboot. Note that doing this option will result in the loss of all previously stored data.
