Unable to find a compatible palette format.

Hi,
I'm unable to capture an image from my web cam with fswebcam. It always says "Unable to find a compatible palette format.". I've tried the package from Ubuntu 10.04 (lucid) and I've compiled the latest source code myself.
This is what I get when I try to run fswebcam:
user@host:~/webcam$ sudo fswebcam -v

(EDIT: It seems that the markdown format is not working right, so I pasted it at pastie for better reading)
I've tried every available palette format, but nothing works.
My web cam is an older Logitech QuickCam.
Do you have an idea what I can do to get the cam working?
My cam is working with the latest version. Thanks!
Hi, I am using a rpi for a time-lapse video. I have fswebcam 20110717 (from apt-get) and it works for varying amounts of time, and then reports "Unable to find a compatible palette format."
