Feature Request - Separate waveform data from view and allow multiple views to access

This feature would allow having multiple views display different parts of the waveform at different scales without having to re-render the waveform.

Thank you for sharing. This is interesting and may be easy to do since #80. However, this seems too far outside the scope of this project so I will close the issue for now.
