compare to Huet, verbs, conditional tense

Opened this issue · 2 comments

This issue summarizes differences and similarities noticed in the comparison of verb conjugations; the methodology is described in the readme for huetcompare/verbs-tp-cnd.

There are only 5 roots for which conditional tense paradigms appear in Huet's sl_roots.xml document
(refer huet_stems_cnd.txt ).

i:A,P
kf:A,P
tap:A,P
dA:A,P
BU:P

The conditional tense conjugations are the same in Huet and pysan system, except for 'tap'.

In the case of 'tap', the difference in conjugations is that Huet has forms both with and without i-insertion , while pysan only has the form without i-insertion.

This completes the summary of comparisons of the conditional tense computations.

'tap', the difference in conjugations is that Huet has forms both with and without i-insertion

So a vet root as per Huet.
