Understanding ppp

Just now I realised what gem I have missed, @funderburkjim .

https://github.com/funderburkjim/elispsanskrit/blob/master/grammar/prod/outputs/MW-verb-ppp.txt

  1. 2634 lines is quite many. Bigger than even Panini's dhatupatha. The base is Huet's list (that is, as I remember was around 500) or MW?

  2. What's the need to have 1a and 1m? I understand it's a U root (Unisex or Ubhayapada - the Parasmaipada as well as the Ātmanepada). hUta remains the same, so what need?

:hve ppp 1a:(hUta)
:hve ppp 1m:(hUta)

  1. hfz an example of two homonyms?

:hfz ppp 1a:(hfzita hfzwa)
:hfz ppp 1m:(hfzita)
:hfz ppp 4a:(hfzita hfzwa)

  1. 92 have forms on na, including:
:laj ppp 6m:(lajina)
:lī ppp 9a:(līna)
:lī ppp 1a:(līna)
:lī ppp 4m:(līna)
:lū ppp 9a:(lūna)
:lū ppp 9m:(lūna)

But where is lagna? It should be connected to root lag or laj. PWG has lagna (= be ashamed) from lajj (= laj). But PWG has also lagna from lag, the basic Astrol. term. Now there is none. So I do not see a proof form that as I expect should be there.
