Feature request: Check box blank if no value

Would it be possible to implement a method to not show a checkbox, similar to the disabled method only it dosent make the box visible. I have a truth table of 1/0 or Null and where the value is Null I dont want the check box to be visible?

or to set the color/background color of a disabled item to something different
