Responsiveness Graph only shows sporadic points?

We have an uptime instance that is monitoring www.google.com.
For some reason, the response time functionality doesn't seem to be working correctly.
We are only getting data-points sporadically - one on May 24, and another on May 31:
Or at some parts, we get them more regularly, but only once per day at 12:00 hours?
Can I confirm - the response time is measured on each check (e.g. every 60 seconds on our Uptime install), right?
Is something going wrong here?
I think this is a google issue, This started happing to mine starting a months or so ago. Worked perfect before then no real changes.
I am using yahoo and amazon as a test url now.
Hmm, ok, I'll try with Yahoo and Amazon.
What could possibly be the issue with Google? www.Google.com is obviously not down, is it something to do with the 3xx redirects or something else?
no idea i haven't gotten around to running a wireshark capture on it.
