Badges on top tabs

Hi,
I am currently using the badge on the bottom tabs in iOS and Android - is it possible to make the badge work on top tabs also? Or do you know of a work around ?

Hello, @michaelonz, thank you for heading with this request. I remember you've asked about it, i do have an intention to work towards this, but no free time is picking up as of now... I'm keeping this in mind.

great - I can test it on android and IOS once you have done the changes if that helps
