Enhancement - Master Gear Library

I would love a sort of master gear library where one would add all equipment owned.

This list should be the only one accessed when searching from the existing gear library filter (that could need a visual upgrade)

When making a new packing list for a trip, one would then have the option to make a copy of the master gear library, or add items (drag-n-drop) from the gear library filter.

These items should be linked in a one-way manner:

• When making changes to the master gear library it would update all linked items.

• When making changes to a linked item in a packing list, the change would be per this list only (and link broken)

• Deleting an item in the master gear library should still keep the item in the packing lists, vice versa.

There should also be an option for the packing lists to 'lock in' the lists, breaking all links to the master gear lirary (so changes in the master gear library wont affect the selected packing list).

• This is the weight you carried for this trip, and it should not be changed because you strip your equipment for something later on.

Adding an item to a packing list should add the item here only, without links to anything.
Per today I have loads of duplicates in the Gear list

It would be nice for existing users to be able to populate this master gear library using CSV import.

So you want basicaly separated inventory. I think the broken link per property could be harder to do. But having instead link to item in invetory where you have up to date info could help.

...on the other hand... if you pack food you don't often want it in invetory. Once you eat it... it is gone for good :-D
