Colorful is a very simple library, you can fork it and add your own colors to your desire, if you understand how it works. Colorful is nothing more than a dynamic theme loader that provides a simple java API to managing large numbers of themes. I've opted to only include the material color pallete.
To answer your question, yes, you can. Though there is no API for it.
