[Opera Linux] Not working on Google results page + Workaround
Closed this issue · 0 comments
Thanks a lot for your SmoothScroll extension for Opera!
This is one of the little tools that improve life a lot.
Problem
Lately I started having a problem with scrolling on Google results pages: SmoothScroll would not work there at all. Scrolling was just unbearably slow with the mouse wheel, no matter what settings I changed.
Workaround
I thought there was a change in Opera, but then I found a workaround:
I had enabled
Scroll to the top of the page by clicking the active tab [ ]
under Settings -> Advanced -> User Interface
Disabling that again makes SmoothScroll work just nicely again on the Google results page (scrolling is still much too slow on Opera's settings pages, but I can live with that).
I thought you might want to know; other users might run into the same problem. Maybe mention it on the extension's home page?
