CUETools 2.2.4 fails on Windows 11 22H2 after selecting the source drive and pressing the go button.

Why aren't you using CUERipper.exe to extract the Audio CD? CUETools.exe was intended for use after the audio is extracted from the CD.

I was recommended using CUETools as a EAC user because it has issues to. In CUERipper I get this error instead:

It's the same error for both of the drives I can test with.

Assuming the CD is in good condition (an unreadable CD will give that error), have you tried changing the C2 Error Mode detection?
C2ErrorMode
Some drives throw an error when set to Auto (prefer Mode296).

When I select Auto or Mode294, it fails with the same error as above. When I select None or Mode296, I end up with a correctly ripped CD.

The CD itself is in mint condition to the naked eye. No scratches or blemishes noticeable.

While the original issue is not resolved, I'm fine with closing this issue as CUERipper seems to do the trick...

Thanks for reporting back.
