Enhance get_children and helper functions

Improve get_children() functionality.
Requirements
- pass param, if conversion of dataverse ID to dataverse alias should be done
- make data collection more efficient by parallel activities
- store state as often as possible, so no data is lost
- work out data structure, which can be easily continued after break up
- idea: hash returning JSON and store in tree
