Automatically transcode ProRes footage to H.265 once it hits archive

It would be nice to automatically transcode ProRes footage down to H.265 once it's stored on jupiter. See about any ZFS mechanisms I could use to do that (like transcode-then-delete if file matches certain conditions).
And could I jam in an A2000 or some other video card to speed that up?
