In the sport of Basketball certain categories for great/outstanding performances exist.
Some examples of exceptional single-game performance are:
- The Double Double: At least 10 in 2 of the 5 categories (points, rebounds, assists, blocks, steals)
- The Triple Double: At least 10 in 3 of the 5 categories
- The Quadruple Double: At least 10 in 4 of the 5 categories
- The five-by-five: At least 5 in all 5 categories
While Double Doubles & Triple Doubles are quite common in a single-game context, the quadruple double and the five-by-five are rare. The former occuring only four times since 1973 and the latter occuring 19 times since 1984 (in the NBA).

- Video Game Numbers: Adding up the counts in all 5 categories to one number (without weighing)
My questions are
- How rare are these occurences (in a statistical sense), and
- What would be a better measure of exceptional performance per game
