Yesterday, Jody Garnett announced GeoServer 2.24.2 which seems to include some "should have" updates.
Could you please publish 2.24.2 on hub.docker.io, also?
(I did not spot a place where the current list of images to build is maintained. If you point me there, I'd provide a PR).
