Clicking "Documentation" in global nav when already viewing article page causes incorrect state with SideNav accordion

If you select the "Documentation" link in the global nav (top right), while already viewing an article page, this happens:

Not sure what the fix is yet, but it seems to be caused by a button outside the accordion changing its state.
