Fixed with 0140911 (tested on macOS, needs tests on Linux and Windows).

Checked compatibility with available programs:

osxkeychain
wincred
secretservice
ecs-login

Didn't check the ecs-login (https://github.com/awslabs/amazon-ecr-credential-helper), but since the three other official ones went so well, I assume that the credential helper protocol will just work for the ecs-login.
