gauge maven plugin 1.3.0 is causing build failure

gauge maen plugin 1.4.0 is compiled with java 10 and gives unsupported format exception when trying to execute with java 8

I am not able to find the reason for this failure. Gauge is installed in class path and gauge java dependency is listed. The test case execution passes but the build fails because of above error

@mittaadi Hey actually oracle has dropped support for java8 so the version 1.4.0 doesn't support java8 anymore. Thanks.
