Removing dynamically made separators and menu items

Thank you for the library - I don't see support for removing separators or menu items - is this currently possible?

EDIT: I've seen quite a few other issues mentioning this need - is there a reason why its not implemented? maybe someone else can do as PR if the things needed can be shared/steps
