network miners, change field IP to host

In settings of network miners, there is a field "IP". I don't like that, I prefer "host" field. When I enter "hostname" to the field, I get warning that it is not valid IP address. Anyway, value is accepted and it works with hostname, hostname is internally resolved to IP address and Minera connects to miner API. I suggest to to replace field "IP" with "host", such field can accept IP address without any problem.
