Bitcoin Knots not recognized as dependency for app, eg. electrs

When you install Bitcoin Core, you can install Electrs easily.
But when you install Bitcoin Knots, electrs doesn't recognize it as an installed dependency.
Instead it demands Bitcoin Core.
Could we have a way to let apps have the Bitcoin dependency satisfied by either of the apps?

Bitcoin Knots' description says:
Bitcoin Knots does not yet automatically integrate with other apps in the Bitcoin ecosystem on Umbrel. However, in a future umbrelOS update, users will be able to choose which Bitcoin node app they want to use to connect with other apps.
So they should be working on it...
