-t flag in tarantula2gmsh

Closed this issue · 1 comments

We did a segmentation in two different way: I took 1 for the pore and 0 for the rocks, Michele did the opposite. When we ran the command tarantula2gmsh, I did it with -t flag and Michele without, and we obtain these two different figures:

michele
enrico

Why the quality of the images is not the same? Is a problem of the -t flag?
We obtain the same porosity but a really different permeability ( K1=0.45435 & K2=0.029756).In our opinion is caused by the absence of a through in the second one.

Tarantula assumes you do not care about the material with index 0 - thus the rubbish mesh. You have to ensure that the region that you want meshed has label 1.
