root tcp files still needed?

There are files in the root that are named the same as the ones in /lib. Are these being used or should be deleted?

Hi BCITMike, thanks for all the input. I'll work through all the issues over the next few days. You're right. These files must've been from a backup copy that lingered and got caught in the update. I deleted them.
