Auto-save not working (Profile migrated from Firefox, working on LibreWolf)

Closed this issue · 1 comments

Hi,

Since my migration from Firefox to LibreWolf a couple of months ago, SingleFileZ auto-save is not working anymore: although enabled, there are no files written to my storage.

See my settings:
2024-10-22_singlefilez-settings-2024-10-22T14_59_28.431Z.json (for testing, I recently set the auto-save delay to 10s, but it was at its default before)

When I invoke the "Save page with SingleFileZ" from the add-on context menu, the current page is saved in the proper folder in the proper way using my file name preferences. So the add-on is working and it's writing to the correct destination.

A parallel Firefox setup still does its auto-save magic.

Is there some privacy config that might conflict with the auto-save event?

My setup:

  • LibreWolf 131.0.2
  • SingleFileZ 1.4.45
  • OS: NixOS (current stable) and/or Debian stable (current)

Oh boy.

Playing around after submitting the issue, I found in the context menu: SingleFileZ -> Auto-save -> Disabled.

I switched to "Auto-save unpinned tabs" and now it seems to work for now. 🤦‍♂️

Minor irritation: both, "Disabled" and "Auto-save unpinned tabs" are enabled in the context menu (highlighted with the blue dot infront).
