Active Directory Password change not reflected and caching confusion

JurHuitema opened this issue · 1 comments

Hi there,

I have encountered an issue with my OctoPrint integration with Windows Server 2019 and LDAP. Whenever I change a password in the Active Directory, I am able to log in using both the old and new password. I am also having difficulty understanding the caching option, as users who log in through LDAP always seem to be saved in the users.yaml file regardless of whether caching is turned on or off.

Could you please provide any insights or solutions to this issue? Thank you in advance for your help.

In Active Directory, the old password will be still usable for exactly 1 hour after changing password. This is done by design.
