A currently mostly empty draft is there:

Let's try to publish this edition on Wednesday October 25th 2023!

Thanks!

We should cover Git Virtual Contributor's Summit 2023, which happened on 26-27 of September 2023.

If I understand it correctly, we are waiting for event summary / minutes in a non-editable format (so no edit-shared Google Docs), isn't it?

@jnareb yeah, right. Thanks for mentioning it!

Taylor just replied saying he sent the following email to the list:

https://lore.kernel.org/git/ZRregi3JJXFs4Msb@nand.local/

I think we should just add a few links to the Summit taken from his email, but I would be Ok with a small article too. Let me know what you think.

TortoiseGIt 2.15.0 was released on 2023-10-03.

@csware thanks for the news!

We use a script to gather releases (see https://github.com/chriscool/getreleases/blob/master/get_releases.py#L371), so a PR to improve it for TortoiseGit would make sure we don't miss TortoiseGit releases in the future.

Apologies. I suppose I'll not be able to give an interview for this edition too since I got held up with some work. I'll aim to get one for the next edition for sure 👍🏼

@sivaraam no worries and thanks for the head up.

@csware I added TortoiseGIt 2.15.0 to the draft in 517671b.
