Some characters behave very weirdly when you use the slider

When you use the slider to gradually vary the weight and width and slant, some characters swap their components, or suddenly jump in size. Take, for instance, the colon and the double quotes.

Furthermore, the single quotes have different widths.

I also feel like the thin font has too wide of a space.
