UBIF-0019 HTML Select is so ugly its scaring the children

The dropdown used in our time frame selection is horrifyingly ugly. No offense to the html standard intended, but it hurts my eyes to even gaze upon it. Please someone do something. I don't want to add all of bootstrap to our project (yet) but if we could get just the tag to stop traumatizing our poor users' optical nerves, that would be great. Something like the bootstrap standard would be nice, I just don't have time to go through it myself right now. https://getbootstrap.com/docs/4.0/components/dropdowns/
