blockify-dbus not working properly

Not sure how recently this issue started as I haven't booted my Arch Linux system in a while but whenever I use blockify-dbus to get any song information it gives me all metadata and not just what I asked for.

For example I run: blockify-dbus get artist
What I expect and used to get: Daft Punk
What I actually get with latest version: Daft Punk - Overture [TRON: Legacy], 2m28s, 0.48

I installed blockify through the AUR if that helps.

I am able to use playerctl to output the information I need into my status bar from Spotify. Seems like the problem is in blockify or python's dbus module but not an expert so could be wrong.
