dependency on activesupport "~> 3" makes it unusable with activesupport 4

In my rails 4.2.beta2 installation I use a gem named rjiffy which depends on wrest. Bundler has a problem resolving the following dependencies:

Bundler could not find compatible versions for gem "activesupport":
In Gemfile:
rjiffy (> 0.1.3) ruby depends on
wrest (> 1.4.2) ruby depends on
activesupport (~> 3.0) ruby

rails (= 4.2.0.beta2) ruby depends on
  railties (= 4.2.0.beta2) ruby depends on
    activesupport (4.2.0.beta2)
