I think I saw the open/xdg-open app segfaulting, likely due to AppArmor/sandboxing.

I installed the new OS Ubuntu 24.04 and the same issue persists. Apparently CHIRP or Canonical or Ubuntu doesn't recognize USB ports. I still can't download or upload the programming on my Amateur radios.
