Federated Image Sharing
I'm in favor of this one, but is it ready for people to use? I can't tell from the github page (the title says "WIP not ready for production!"). I'd prefer to only list stuff that's launched.
I don't use it myself, since I'm not much of a photo sharing person, but it seems to be up and running, federating, with a good amount of nodes supporting it: https://the-federation.info/pixelfed
Not "1.0" yet, though.
It appears that they’ve made quite a bit of progress on Pixelfed since last spring. The codebase is still flagged as “pre-release”, but they have rolled out some very solid examples of it in use.
