Unnecessary word in Step 3 "Task: Creating animations with MotionLayout"

There is a sentence in Step 3 "Task: Creating animations with MotionLayout":
"This will replace the ConstraintLayout tag with a MotionLayout tag and add add an app:layoutDescription that points to @xml/activity_step1_scene."
I believe the word in bold is unnecessary.
