How to customize tooltip in wordtree chart

Hey,
I am using the wordtree chart and I want to be able to customize the tooltip. Is there any way to do this?
Additionally my text is being cut off and I would like the option to stop that from happening, as per this image below

I am happen to contribute code to add these capabilities if you have a process for doing so
