No push notification on Android wear

I have installed the app on my android wear emulator. The app will open and i can push a button to show a notification but no notification will pop up after that...
I have the SDK platform Android 8.0 level 26 rev 2 installed with sdk build tools 25.0.3 and 26.0.1 and also the Android support repository
Someone experiencing the same problem?
