Game controller support for GDlauncher (not minecraft)

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
GDlauncher would be a perfect launcher for use instead steam if it could support controllers im well aware that mods for minecraft are necessary but this does not cover the launcher

allow controlling the launcher using an attached gamepad

Additional context
_ there arent any good launchers that both support gamepads and look nice touch screen is working but being able to navigate the UI with the controller buttons on the ROG ally or steam deck from within steam big picture mode / gamescope would be great._
I don't think there are any.
If you want you can try and suggest that feature for the rewrite (over on Discord).
