VBoxManage: error: Could not find a controller named 'IDE'

Hi,
after running ./mkvm.sh VMs/IE11\ -\ Win7.ova
I get the error
VBoxManage: error: Could not find a controller named 'IDE'
Any chance someone got the the same error and already solved it?

Closing since the README states that it has been tested with Virtualbox 4.3 and I am using 5.2. There have been quite a bit of changes.
