Cannot Delete Schedule Override

What went wrong?
We had a schedule with an shift swap between Kevin and Shane. then we had to delete one of the users. Now we are in a situation where the override still exists, but it's not correctly notifying the person that it's their oncall shift, and we are unable to delete the override. I think it's because the override already started.

Would it be possible to delete these shift swaps? You have permission to access the workspace to view/edit these shift swaps, but they are not allowed to be deleted from the UI with admin permissions. (ping Seth Wilberger at The Trade Desk)
How do we reproduce it?
View the schedule to see the overrids that have the deleted user and are not deletable.
