Audio dropouts / failure

After about 3 synths, the audio starts to crackle a lot and sometimes drops out completely. Lowering the sample rate and framerate as well as low graphics only helped a little. Is this to be expected? I'm curious what the performance bottleneck is here. My browser and machine:
Brave Browser Version 1.40.105 Chromium: 103.0.5060.53 (Official Build) (x86_64)
Macbook on Monterey v12.4
2.4GHz 8-core i9
64 GB DDR4
AMD Radeon Pro 5500M 8 GB

This happen indeed, it's the reason why there is a "restart engine" button here:
But with your configuration i'm obviously quite surprised you are seeing this bug this soon, after how many time (precisely) can you hear the audio engine falling like that?
