contributors file
guidelines for new contributors: community principles
guidelines for new contributors: any process they need to be aware of concerning submitting a feature or patch
guidelines for new contributors: what yaks do you need to shave to set up your development environment

Working on this! Matthias...we should chat re: the new repo, as it's much harder to manage a CLA across the multiple Repos, rather than a single repo with multiple folders. :-)
