Any chance translation_db_engine will be updated for Rails 4 (or 5, for that matter)?

I see :). Well, the sources don't look too difficult to understand, but I'm currently fighting with getting gettext_i18n_rails figured out and working. Plus I've never worked on any sort of plugin for Rails before and have noticed that there's no rails plugin install anymore, only rails plugin new. Does that mean that it would it have to be converted to a gem in order to be usable with Rails 4?
