How can I get greenscreen to display at a higher resolution?

When I cast from chrome, it seems to use a higher resolution than greenscreen.

Please refer to the thread in isssue #26 for more info about this. The tl;dr is that it isn't a limitation of Greenscreen, it's a limitation put in place by Google on the Chromecast.

So the extension in chrome is communicating with the chromecast in a different way then Greenscreen does?

It's not a communication issue; this is a Google issue with how it renders custom receiver applications, which is what differentiates GreenScreen from casting a YouTube video from YouTube's website.
