VS project files not working?

It looks like the Visual Studio solutions are not loading properly? Specifically, the max folder seems to be missing the project file, and the msp project file doesn't open by itself, so the entire solution doesn't load either project. Can anyone confirm this, or did I do something silly? :) Thanks!
I confirm, the VS example files are strangely incomplete. I had to make my own; it was a convoluted process that I cannot replicate as I'm a noob pretty much. It would be great to have functional VS examples in the main package.
Otherwise, maxcpp is a godsend really. Cheers!
I apologize, I'm also a VS noob really. (Been programming for many years, but haven't really used VS much unfortunately). If you have a working VS project for the maxcpp examples, I'd be glad to take a pull request!

@roskit i'm afraid not, my files were incompatible with VS2010 so i gave up in the end...
I also had no luck merging in the pull request for the VS project files, too many merge conflicts and I don't know which one is right.
