If you have experience with gruvbox and/or with maintaining open source projects, especially with VimScript projects, you are welcome to become a maintainer of this project and part of the gruvbox-community organization.

Please post below or email me at r.l.bongers@gmail.com with your GitHub account name.

My intention is to avoid any single-maintainer issues with this project.

@kingarley luckily it's easier than ever to get gruvbox experience.

Here are a few things we could use help with right now:

  • Submitting PRs for some of the open issues
  • Recreating issues on the original issue tracker with no details where the original submitter has disappeared and posting your terminal, vim version, .vimrc, and steps to recreate
  • Backporting fixes to morhetz/gruvbox that didn't come from a migrated PR by submitting new PRs. This will probably be a bit tricky in git since the original repository requires signed commits

I'd like to throw my hat in the ring as a potential additional maintainer. I've started working in the issue queue and had one PR merged in so far for an existing user issue, and plan on making more PRs against existing issues.
