Holy cow is the information around MagicMirrorOS written in a crazy weird way. It took me now 2 hours to figure out what actually MMOS is. The readme suggests that there are two docker container, mm and mmpm. Nut there is no mmpm and you have to configure the yml yourself. I don't see a point in MMOS when it basically only skips the install of MM as docker container. Can somebody enlighten me?
You are more than welcome to pull-request improvements to thr documentation. It needs some more love.

My guess is he is "reading" the development section in the readme as if it is the initial primary setup...
So maybe put the whole development section somewhere in the wiki to avoid it?
@mr190e The suplied image (see link in readme) is a full ready to use OS. Just copy it to the SD card, plug it in a PC and edit the connection details for the wireless, then put the SD in the Raspberry and voila....thats it.
(took me 2 reads to get the above, pardon my noobness ;-) )
I rather not have it in the wiki because it means maintaining another section. If anyone wants to arrange it they are more than welcome.
